Bada Bing!

My dad's house is done and closed on. That was a long time coming, I think my siblings would agree. It is right around 4000 sq ft total (with an unfinished bsmnt that should be done within the next couple of months), 4 bedrooms (including stef/kasi's giant room that was supposed to be two), and 3 bathrooms. It's also on about a 1/2 an acre.

At The Park

What to do when it's almost 70 degrees outside? The park of course!

Best Buddies

Justin is hoping these two become good buddies. Currently she enjoys pulling Koda's hair. Does Koda enjoy this? Um, Not so much.

The puppies have their eyes open! They're not terribly adorable yet- that'll come in a few weeks, but their coloring is awesome. My favorite is this little gal. She is going to be a cute little fluffball for sure.

6 Months

It is amazing how quickly babies develop and learn. Six months really isn’t a very long time, but in baby time it can be the difference of this:

Versus this:

A Baby that smiles, laughs, and has a whole variety of facial expressions. A baby who recognizes who you are and gets so excited when you go to pick her up. She can hold her own bottle (for short periods of time, that thing’s heavy!), Sit up on her own, and repeat some of the small consonants I’m saying. Her teeth are coming in and I’ve just noticed she’s outgrowing her baby tub! She loves books, fuzzy blankets, doggies, being carried, and watching everything around her. She hates being woken up, being stuck on her belly, really long car rides, and being bored or hungry (don’t we all?).

It has been awesome to watch her grow, even when it would be nice just to have some me time- I don’t regret it one bit.

Spring has sprung

At my house at least. Though wasn’t that 60 degree Saturday nice?! I was so excited to pull everything out and to see what else I needed to make. Here’s what we’ve got:

This one felt like it took forever! But I love how it turned out.

This one was super easy. Kind of looks it though. Hmm…

Can I just say how much I love Rod Works! They have the cutest, cheapest stuff, and they always have coupons.

And in other exciting news (to us at least)

My dad’s house is almost done! My sister and I worked as his Real Estate Agents and boy was he difficult. Sorry dad but it’s true. He finally decided to build with Salisbury and he let us pick the colors. It is turning out to be absolutely beautiful! Here’s a sneak peak (it should be done by the end of this week).

That tan trim has since been painted a dark chocolate color.

His cabinets are soooo pretty! I love them. The floor was laid by my dad, my brother Kylan, and Justin. It turned out great despite the fact that they were all dead for two days afterward. I’ll take better pictures once it’s totally done. I am excited, he’s going to let me decorate!
