Our girl is two weeks old already! She has been, overall, a really good baby. She only screams when she is hungry and is not being given food at that exact moment. She enjoys food. Like really enjoys food. We had her two week appointment today and she weighs 8lbs 6oz. She's putting down 3-4 oz a feeding, and the average for her age is 2-3. They are hoping that by two weeks babies will gain enough weight to be back at their birth weight. She has surpassed that by about a half pound. The doctor seemed happy though and even said we can let her sleep through the night if she will. She has slept 5 or 6 hours a couple of times and I felt bad and ended up waking her up to eat. Well no more of that! Although, she'll probably only sleep 2-3 hours at a time now that we've been given permission to let her sleep longer.
We have absolutely loved having this beautiful little girl in our lives.
(minus the diaper explosion we had this morning.....yucky)
Also wanted to give a quick shout out to my youngest sister who just turned 16 and I believe is getting her license today. Happy Birthday Kasi! Crazy how fast time goes by.
